Permission Slips were passed out in 9th period today for the Zoo field trip next week! Congratulations to the students who were nominated to attend! Students must return their signed permission slips by the end of the school day on Friday, December 13 - all slips need to be given directly to AP Simpson.
Students invited:
1. Were passing 7 or more classes on the last progress report.
2. Have fewer than five absences between October 15 and December 10.
3. Have zero referrals.
Join us for our Christmas Posada and Family Literacy Night on Tuesday, December 17! We begin with a Christmas Play at 5:30 PM in the auditorium and end in the cafeteria with refreshments, activities, and free books to gift to the readers in your life! We will see you there!
Please join us for Saturday School this Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM. Breakfast and a light snack will be served. All students are invited to attend - no invitation required! Students in need of attendance hours and HB 1416 hours should attend.
We have lots of fun events planned for this month! Athletics will be hosting a Winter Wonderland Dance on Friday, December 13 - 4PM to 6PM. Tickets are $5 and will be sold next week during lunches. To attend, students cannot have any referrals during the month of December.
Join us at Gus Garcia for our Christmas Band Concert on Thursday, December 12. The concert start time is 6:30 PM and it's free to attend. Band students must report to the auditorium at 5:30 PM. We will see you there!
